The planned module

The whole equipment lifecycle, accounted for.

The new AssetMaster module is planned around nine user stories. These workflows cover the physical asset, the people responsible for it, and the work needed to keep it ready.

01 / ASSETMASTER

Catalogs that fit your equipment

Planned types, subtypes, custom attributes, and make/model records, with vendor and product associations.

PLANNED WORKFLOW
02 / ASSETMASTER

One record for each physical item

Planned serial numbers, acquisition dates, cost, condition, disposition, and current location for individual equipment instances.

PLANNED WORKFLOW
03 / ASSETMASTER

Requests through fulfillment

Planned submission, approval, and assignment stages, with a status trail and notifications to the requester.

PLANNED WORKFLOW
04 / ASSETMASTER

Issue, return, and group assignments

Planned individual and grouped equipment assignments that preserve who held what and when.

05 / ASSETMASTER

Consumables by location

Planned stock receipts, issues, adjustments, user distributions, and low-stock indicators backed by a change history.

Maintenance and vendor context

Planned service, repair, replacement-part, and vendor records connected to the equipment they support.

Field guide / free resource

How to run an inventory audit that produces answers—not just counts.

A useful audit confirms existence, identity, custody, location, condition, and the next required action. This process works with paper, spreadsheets, or asset-management software.

ADD THE CONTEXT

Asset CAM-0421 was absent from Locker 3 at the count. The transfer log lists Unit B as the last recipient. The inventory lead will confirm custody and update the location by the next review.

01

Freeze the reference list

Record the inventory snapshot, audit date, included locations, and responsible reviewer before counting begins.

02

Verify identity and custody

Match the tag or serial number, assigned person or unit, and physical location to the record.

03

Inspect condition

Use consistent condition labels and document damage, missing components, or service needs with supporting evidence.

04

Resolve exceptions

Assign an owner and deadline for every missing, transferred, retired, duplicated, or incorrectly labeled item.

05

Close and learn

Confirm corrections, retain the final report, and look for patterns that point to a weak handoff or maintenance process.

AVOID / 01

Counting without confirming custody

A correct total can hide an incorrect assignee or location. Verify the identity and custody of each serialized item.

AVOID / 02

Overwriting the previous record

Preserve the sequence of assignments, transfers, and returns so a later discrepancy can be investigated.

AVOID / 03

Leaving exceptions without owners

Every discrepancy needs a named action owner, a deadline, and a documented resolution.

Looking ahead

The plan behind the experience.

These items describe future work for AssetMaster. Planned features, draft proposals, and deferred ideas are identified separately.

Planned

Catalog and serialized inventory

Equipment types, subtypes, custom attributes, vendor products, individual instances, and lifecycle statuses.

Planned

Requests, assignments, and returns

Role-based approval and fulfillment, assignment sets, employee self-service views, and preserved custody history.

Planned

Supplies and service records

Location-based consumables, low-stock signals, maintenance, repairs, costs, and replacement parts.

Planned

Inventory dashboard and migration

Status totals, pending requests, repair queues, recent activity, and migration of legacy inventory records.

Future idea

Location map

The location-tracking story identifies a map view as a future enhancement beyond the core location history.

Planned Connected accreditation

AccreditPath would connect standards, dated assessment cycles, assignments, and version-specific proofs from policies, quizzes, qualifications, and completed checklists. Its roadmap includes self-assessment, time-limited assessor access, reporting, edition crosswalks, and AI evidence suggestions for human review.

  • Standards & cycles
  • Evidence links
  • Self-assessment
  • Assessor access
  • Reports & gaps
Planned Bring Your Own Agent

Connect an agency-approved personal AI agent to permitted platform information. The planned design includes expiring access, scoped permissions, useful answer tools, human-reviewed proposals, optional limited actions, event updates, exports, and agency oversight.

  • Guided connection
  • Permission controls
  • Reviewable proposals
  • Activity logs
  • Revocation

Roadmap reviewed September 7, 2026. Planned features have no committed release date. Availability of implemented features depends on enabled modules, permissions, configuration, and rollout. The wider platform roadmap also covers shared messaging, team workflows, reporting, notifications, and record migration.

Straight answers

A little more clarity.

How should we start an equipment inventory audit?

Freeze a dated reference list, define the included locations, and name the reviewer. Then verify each item’s identity, custody, location, and condition before resolving exceptions.

How are durable assets different from consumables?

Track a durable item through its individual identity and custody history. Track consumables by quantity, location, receipts, issues, and adjustments.

Is this the new AssetMaster implementation?

This page previews the planned new-platform implementation. Contact InterventionPro to discuss current product options and the planned transition.

Is scanning or a live location map included?

The reviewed stories specify serial numbers and location history. They do not establish barcode or QR scanning as implemented, and a map view is identified as a future enhancement.
